Thumpin’ Thursday

Narrabeen, Dee Why | 10 July 2014 | 5-7 ft ESE @ 13s

  • I spent most of this session at North Narrabeen because of its reputation for being an east swell magnet. Tick! The easterly direction plus substantial size generated by strong groundswell and an offshore meant all the key ingredients blended together in perfect harmony on this very wintry Thursday. The conditions hung around most of the day meaning most of the crew gorged on not just one but two epic sessions.

The froth factor was set to high with abundant, multi-rider waves on offer thanks to the long lines flowing in. There was a bit of power around at some of the other spots too particularly Dee Why and Freshwater.
