  • June was the wettest month of the year and the wettest since 2007. So no real surprise then that a small group of enthusiastic surfers was greeted by a cool damp day featuring a pumping east swell, enough kegs to shout your mates and the usual helpful offshore winds.

We had been enduring a very wet and blustery onshore east coast low which besides dumping a ton of rain on Sydney helpfully increased average swell height during the latter part of June.

Not that anyone was complaining. Experiencing the stats and weather conditions in real time, the crew were getting busy enjoying the awesomeness and epic shacking opportunities being served up.
